I am running for Justice of the Peace because I believe in a justice system that is based on respecting our individual rights and protecting our civil rights, free from unfair treatment based on race, gender, age, national origin, political affiliation, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, and disability.

And, I am running because we all deserve to live in a community where the rules of law are applied equally to every citizen, and carried out with fairness, good judgement, and compassion. It is my promise that, if elected, these standards will define the Justice Court of Denton County, Precinct 2.

Over the coming months, I will be visiting neighborhoods in Frisco, Little Elm, The Colony, and Hackberry, which, together, make up the Denton County Justice of the Peace Precinct 2. I hope to meet as many residents as possible. I want to know what expectations you have for your elected officials, and what concerns and ideas you have regarding your County Justice Court. I want to earn your confidence and your vote, and will welcome questions and conversations about who I am, what I stand for, and why having a fair and equitable county Justice Court is important to everyone.
